The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today conducted simultaneous raids at multiple places connected with the notorious Dhalsamanta brothers-Sushil and Sushant.

The duo’s ancestral house in Cuttack and offices in Cuttack and Kolkata were raided by the ED, sources revealed.

The ED also raided two locations of Tantia Constructions which has taken up JICA project in Cuttack, the sources added.

As many as three teams of the ED have been engaged in the search operation, the sources further revealed.

Both Sushil and Sushant are currently cooling their heels in jails.

While Sushant has been lodged at the Jharapada jail, his younger brother Sushil is lodged at Balasore jail.

The duo was arrested on January 29 last year on a variety of charges from murder to money laundering.
