Educational institutions in Odisha allowed to celebrate Ganesh Puja

Bhubaneswar: While issuing guidelines for celebration of Ganesh Puja, Odisha Government today gave permission to educational institutions in the state to celebrate the festival on September 10.

Limited number of students will be allowed during the festival. Authorities of the educational institutions must ensure that COVID appropriate behavior is followed by all concerned during the celebration, said an official.

However, no community feast associated with any puja/ festival will be allowed during the period. No musical or other entertainment programme will be allowed, said an advisory issued by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).
