An eight-feet-long python was rescued from Buddha Park in Niladri Vihar area of Odisha capital last evening.
According to reports, the reptile was spotted by locals in a sleeping state inside the park. On being informed by the locals, two members of the snake helpline reached the spot and rescued the snake.
The python was initially kept at Chandaka Range office and later released to Bharatpur reserve forest.
