Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today asked eight universities of the State to return the unutilized fund that was released for setting up of Civil Service Coaching Centre on their premises.

In a letter, the Higher Education Department requested Utkal University, Berhampur University, Sambalpur University, RD Women’s University, Ravenshaw University, GM University, FM University and North Odisha University to refund the unspent money which was released for the Civil Service Coaching Centre.

Earlier, on June 11, 2020, the department had shot off a letter to the universities to refund the balance amount. Even though since then six months have passed, the eight universities are yet to respond the department’s letter.
