Elderly man held for sending obscene messages to women in Odisha

Bhadrak: The district police today arrested an elderly man for allegedly sending obscene messages to women. The accused has been identified as S.K. Sarif, a resident of Erein village in the district.

According to reports, Sarif, who works as a driver at the Food Corporation of India (FCI), used to send messages to several women in the area proposing them to have physical intimacy with him and offered Rs 2,000 for the same.

One of the woman lodged a complaint in this regard with Bhadrak Town police yesterday, on the basis of which he was arrested and forwarded to court.
