Engineering student goes missing in Odisha’s Mahanadi
Cuttack: An engineering student went missing in Mahanadi river while taking bath, here today.
The victim has been identified as Vicky Kumar from Jharkhand, who is a student in a private engineering college in Tangi.

According to reports, Vicky, along with four of his friends was bathing in the river near Naraj anicut when he lost balance and slipped. He was swept away by strong current.
Four of his friends swam to safety but Vicky could not return and make it.
On receiving information from his friends, officials of the fire department reached the spot. Search operations are currently underway.
At the time of filing this report, Vicky was still untraceable.
