Puri: In view of the coronavirus outbreak, entry of devotees to Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha's Puri will be restricted from tomorrow till March 31, informed SJTA chief administrator Krishan Kumar today.

Only servitors will be allowed inside the temple while rituals of the deities will continue as earlier. Puri Collector issued a direction in this regard after a meeting with the sevayats.

Couple of days ago, it was decided that Pujapanda servitors will wear masks and perform the rituals. Footfall at the 12th-century shrine had decreased drastically after the state government issued guidelines for maintaining social distancing to contain the spreading of coronavirus.
