Evaluation of Odisha +2 exam answer sheets from April 4

Bhubaneswar: Evaluation of answer sheets of the annual +2 examination conducted by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be held in two phases beginning from April 4, informed council’s deputy exam controller Prabodh Panda.

While the answer sheets will be evaluated in the first phase from April 4 to 14, the second phase will start on April 16 and conclude on April 26, he said.

However, All Odisha School College Teachers’ and Employees’ United Forum has decided to boycott the evaluation process over non-fulfilment of their demands, informed forum’s convener Pabitra Mahala. The forum has also boycotted the evaluation of the Matric exam answer sheets.

The agitating teachers are protesting delay on the part of the state government to issue a notification regarding withdrawal of a compulsory affidavit clause to avail grant-in-aid.

On the other hand, School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra said there will be no issue in the evaluation of the answer sheets. Requesting the teachers to participate in the evaluation, he said the state government has alternative plans for the evaluation process in view of their agitation.

Notably, the +2 exam is scheduled to conclude on March 29.
