Evaluation of Odisha Matric Exam answer sheets begins

Cuttack: The evaluation of annual Matric Examination-2022 answer sheets began amid tight security today.

The answer papers of High School Certificate (HSC) Examination for the year 2022 will be evaluated at 58 centres across the State, informed the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha today.

Total 481 chief evaluators have been deployed for evaluation at the centres. Similarly, the board has appointed 900 deputy evaluators, 8,919 assistant evaluators and 930 scrutinizers for evaluation of the examination papers.

The evaluators have already reached the evaluation centres on May 20. The evaluation will be made from 10 am to 12 pm, for two hours. The marks will be uploaded online after evaluation of answer sheets, the BSE source said.

For the first time, authorities have decided to evaluate the examination for the year 2022 adopting three different methods. As per the decision, the evaluation will be done on the basis of scores achieved in Summative Assessment-I, Summative Assessment-II and Internal Assessment.
