Bhubaneswar: The Khurda district administration has set up strong rooms at BJB Autonomous College in the Odisha capital here for safe storage of EVMs for five Assembly constituencies ahead of the 2024 polls in the state.

The administration has set up five strong rooms at BJB College for the storage of EVMs for as many as 1,907 booths under Jatni, Jayadev, Bhubaneswar Ekamra, Bhubaneswar Central and Bhubaneswar North Assembly constituencies under Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, said Khurda Collector Chanchal Rana today.

“The five strong rooms have been set up in a five-storey building of the BJB College. The EVMs were brought to the strong rooms from a godown today.
