Bhubaneswar: The Exit Poll surveys conducted by various agencies have predicted massive gains for the BJP in Odisha in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

The BJP may win 13-19 Lok Sabha seats of the total 21 in the state, predicted the Exit Polls. The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) may get 4-8 seats in Odisha while the Congress party may come victorious from only one constituency in the state.

The India TV Exit Poll survey has predicted that the BJP may win 15-17 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha while the BJD may get 4-6 seats. The Congress party may come victorious in 0-1 seat.

The News Nation Exit Poll survey gave 13 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha to BJP and eight seats to BJD.

As per an Exit Poll survey by the Jan Ki Baat, the BJP may grab 15-18 seats in the state while the BJD may get 3-7 seats.

Candidates of the BJP may come victorious in 16 seats while the BJD may get four seats. The Congress party may get only one seat, said an Exit Poll survey by the News 24.

Similarly, a survey conducted by the Today’s Chanakya predicted that BJP is likely to win 16 seats in the state. The BJD may get four seats and Congress one.

The BJP may get 15 of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha while Naveen Patnaik-led BJD is likely to get 3-8 seats, predicted an Exit Poll survey by the NDTV.

An Exit Poll survey by the Aaj Tak has predicted 18-20 Lok Sabha seats for BJP in Odisha while the BJD may get 0-2 seats.

The BJP had won eight seats in Odisha in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The BJD had bagged 12 seats while the Congress got only one seat.

The 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state went for polls in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.

The counting of votes for all the Lok Sabha seats in the state will be done on June 4.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda, party national spokesperson Sambit Patra and two former Union Ministers—Jual Oram and Pratap Sarangi— and bureaucrat-turned-politician Aparajita Sarangi are in the fray in the Lok Sabha polls in Odisha.

BJD general secretary (Organisation) Pranab Prakash Das, former MLA Anshuman Mohanty, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Arup Patnaik and pilot-turned-politician Manmath Routray are some of the prominent candidates of the ruling party in the polls.

Former Union Minister Srikanta Jena, MP Saptagiri Ulaka and actor Manoj Mishra are trying their luck in the polls on Congress tickets.
