Explosion at steel plant in Odisha’s Jajpur; 5 workers injured
Jajpur: An explosion inside Maithan Steel Plant at Kalinganagar in Odisha’s Jajpur district injured five workers today.
The victims were engaged at the SMS site of the plant by a company namely JD Construction. The workers sustained burn injuries following a blast at the site today.

The injured ones were admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. The victims whose identities have been established are Umanath Yadav (40), Umesh Ray (38), Manas Mallik (21) and Sunil Majhi (24).
