Explosion during digging leaves two injured in Odisha's Puri

Puri, May 23:

Two persons, including a woman, sustained burn injuries due to an explosion during digging work for water pipe connection of a newly constructed house at Goudabada Sahi under Baliapanda police limits in Odisha's Puri district today.

The injured were identified as Alok Pradhan, the worker engaged in the digging, and mother of the house's owner.

They were admitted to Puri sadar hospital in a critical condition.
