Fake currency racket busted in Odisha, four arrested

Bolangir, Oct 12:

Police today busted a fake currency racket in Khaprakhol area of Odisha’s Bolangir district and arrested four persons in this connection.

Fake currency seized

Two printers used in the printing of fake currency notes have been also seized by the police.

According to reports, employees of a filling station on suspicion overpowered three youths and informed the police while they were trying to escape after paying for the fuel using fake currency notes.

These youths were later arrested by the police, reports added.

Later, based on their statements police arrested kingpin of the racket Bapi Kuttar from Lubrimunda and seized two printers from his house, reports said.
