Fake journo brandishes gun after road rage in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A youth in guise of journalist was detained by Commissionerate Police for allegedly brandishing gun in busy area here in capital city today.

The accused was identified as Arabinda Mishra.

The incident was reported from Rasulgarh area in broad daylight in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the youth allegedly threatened a person with a gun following a heated argument over overtake of vehicle.

Sources said that Mishra confronted another person on a busy road after the latter overtook on his vehicle that bears registration number OR 09 M 0099.

On receiving information, the Mancheswar police rushed to the site and detained the youth. A licensed gun was also recovered from his possession.

Shockingly, during interrogation the accused claimed himself as a journalist, sources said.

Till the last report came in, the interrogation was underway.
