False sexual harassment case: Odisha govt suspends asst teacher, terminates 3 school staff

Kotagarh: Taking stern action against the school employees in a false sexual harassment case lodged against headmaster, the government suspended an assistant teacher and three other employees of Durgapanga Sevasharma School in Kandhamal district.

By the order of Kandhamal collector, assistant teacher Sunita Dora was suspended and three employees — Physical Education Teacher (PET) Swarnaprabha Ojha, ANM Ambika Sahani and Matron Satyabhama Nanda were fired from their services in the case.

The headmaster was accused of molesting a girl student of Durgapanga Sevasharma School in April.

Later, the accused was proved to be innocent during investigation. Kotagarh police revealed that the teacher along with three other employees of the school had conspired and directed the girl student to bring false sexual harassment allegation against the school headmaster.
