FANI aid: Odisha Guv, Raj Bhavan staff donate one day’s salary to CMRF
Bhubaneswar: Extending helping hand towards cyclone FANI-affected people, Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal and Raj Bhavan staff today donated their one day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
The Governor and 122 employees of Governor’s Secretariat made the donation to the fund for restorations in aftermath of the cyclone.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had last month donated his salary of one year to the CMRF. He has also been urging people to donate their contributions to the fund for rebuilding the state and helping the affected ones.
One can donate to the CMRF online at cmrfodisha.gov.in.
Donations to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund are exempted from Income Tax under section 80G of the I.T. Act.
