Due to the intense heat wave the proposed farmer workshop by the ruling Biju Janta Dal party for ten thousand farmers entitled “Krishi and Krushak” has been postponed.

BJD Krushak cell convenor Sushant Singh has said in a statement.
“The proposed April 20 workshop has been put off for a temporary period for the heat wave on the advice of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The BJD farmers’ wing will decide on a further date and inform people,” said Sushant Singh .
The workshop was to educate the Odisha farmers about the various programmes and schemes run by the state government, the ruling BJD party is going to hold a workshop for ten thousand farmers entitled “Krishi and Krushak” on April 20 in Exhibition Ground, unit -3 in Bhubaneswar.
