FEDCO employee falls of electric pole in Odisha’s Puri, dies

Puri: In a tragic incident, an employee of the Feedback Energy Distribution Company Limited (FEDCO) died after falling off an electric pole at police barrack near VIP Road in Odisha’s Puri town today.

The deceased has been identified as Mangaraj Rao (25), a resident of Nolia Sahi here.

Rao had climbed atop an electric pole at the barrack for power supply restoration work. During the process, he fell down and was rushed to the district headquarters hospital by his co-workers.

However, he was declared dead by doctors at the hospital.
