Female police Sub-Inspector held for sexually harassing woman journo in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: A female Sub-Inspector of Odisha Police was today arrested on charges of sexually harassing a woman journalist in Bhadrak district.
The accused has been identified as Tapaswini Mohapatra, the Sub-Inspector of Chudamani Marine Police Station in Bhadrak district.

As per the allegation, the female Sub-Inspector had sexually harassed the female journalist of a web channel some days ago.
The victim had lodged a complaint in this regard with Bhadrak Town Police.
“We have registered a case in this regard and arrested the female Sub-Inspector after conducting a medical examination of the victim. The accused SI has been put under suspension and produced in a local court,” said an official of Bhadrak Town Police.
