Few more trains running through Odisha cancelled, rescheduled

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has cancelled few more trains in view of the consistent heavy rain causing waterlogging of tracks in Visakhapatnam-Koraput and Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaran-Rayagada Railway section under Waltair Division.

“Four more trains have been cancelled and another rescheduled for September 27 and 28 due to waterlogging of railway tracks in Visakhapatnam-Koraput and Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaran-Rayagada Railway section following heavy downpour,” said an official.

The cancelled trains are:

1.Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Special from Bhubaneswar on September 27

2.Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Special from Bhubaneswar on September 27

3. Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Special from Jagadalpur on September 28

4. Junagarah Road-Bhubaneswar Special from Junagarh Road on September 28

Besides, the Chennai-Howrah Special train, which was earlier scheduled to depart from Chennai at 7.15 pm on September 27, will leave at 9.30 am the next day.
