FICCI FLO celebrates Mother’s Day

Bhubaneswar: Amidst the ongoing pandemic, FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar on Saturday celebrated Mother’s Day by organizing a webinar, “I’m the best Mom”.

The country is fighting the second wave of the COVID-19 virus and children are being one of the most vulnerable sections as they are getting effected not just physically but also emotionally and socially. Sunita Mohanty, Chairperson FLO Bhubaneswar and a mother, committed to mothers being irreplaceable in the family by offering and organizing pediatrician and industrial experts clinical guidance and suggestions addressing concerns and questions of all the brave and beautiful mothers by Dr Binod Patra, Additional Professor of Community Medicine and Dean(Research) AIIMS and Dr Biswajit Mishra, pediatrician and director of Jagannath Hospital, Bhubaneswar.

The webinar was moderated by FLO Bhubaneswar Secretary, Sonal More, who’s also a mother. It covered clinical features, essential requirements of home isolation, dos and don’ts of vaccine, diagnosis and management of Covid-19 virus in children, and the link between Covid-19 and MIS-C( Multiple System Infection Syndrome in children) and its effect.

Later, Namrita Chahal, Sr Vice Chairperson of FLO, mother and counsellor gave the vote of thanks.
