FICCI’S FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter on women entrepreneurs’ journey towards ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT

Bhubaneswar: The Women’s wing of FICCI (FLO) Bhubaneswar Chapter on Friday organised a webinar on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat and Women’s Economic Empowerment.’

Pratap Sarangi, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises attended the meeting as the Chief Guest. The meeting was attended by FLO members from all over the country.

Sunita Mohanty, chairperson FLO Bhubaneshwar, opened the meeting with a welcome address. She then spoke about the vision of FLO Bhubaneshwar for the year 2021-2022 making it a year of inclusion. Immediate Past Chair, Dharitri Patnaik addressed the women issues and also spoke about national initiatives of FLO.

Pratap Sarangi, in his address, said that Atmanirbhar Bharat is an age-old practice which was disturbed by foreign invasion. And women-led development will pave the way for Atmanirbhar Bharat, especially in the MSME sector. India is a treasure box of resources and has tremendous potential and capacity to encourage women entrepreneurs in micro and small businesses to cope with and rescue the economy, he further added.

The event was aimed at encouraging the women of today to feel empowered and motivated in these challenging times.
