FIR lodged, Rs 50k fine imposed on popular Odia TV channel; Here's why

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) lodged an FIR against a leading Odia entertainment channel for putting up unauthorised posters promoting its programmes at many places in the city.

The civic body also imposed a penalty of Rs 50,000 on the private entertainment TV channel for the offence.

The BMC informed it in a tweet this morning.
