Khordha: A major fire broke out at an edible oil factory in Sarua Industrial Estate under Baghamari police limits in Odisha's Khordha district, today.

Assets worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in the fire mishap, which reportedly took place due to electrical short circuit.

As per information, the short circuit happened at the godown and the office room of the factory, following which smoke started billowing out.

Panicked, the workers rushed out of the factory.

On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot and initiated efforts to douse the flames.

No casualty was reported in the accident.
