Fire breaks out at market complex in Odisha’s Cuttack city

Cuttack: A major fire broke out at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Arcade market complex in Dargah Bazaar of Odisha’s Cuttack city today.

The fire reportedly emerged from the fourth floor of the market complex around 4 am and gutted properties worth lakhs.

On being informed about the mishap, Fire personnel reached the spot and managed to douse the flames around 6 am.

A bar inside the shopping complex has been severely damaged in the blaze. Though the reason behind the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that electrical short circuit led to the outbreak of fire.
