Fire breaks out at Niali Tehsil Office

Cuttack: A major fire broke out at Niali Tehsil office in Cuttack district in the wee hours today.

Property worth lakhs of rupees and several important documents were destroyed in the fire that erupted in the computer section of the office. Though the exact cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, short circuit is suspected to have led to the mishap, sources said. 

On receiving information, firefighting teams rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
