Fire broke out at Paradip Port Trust Hospital here today damaging an air conditioner (AC) and some instruments of pathology lab of the medical.

There were no reports of any casualty in the incident.

On being informed, fire personnel reached the spot and doused the blaze.

A short circuit at the hospital led to the incident, informed medical officer Prahallad Panda.
