Fire mishap at rice mill damages properties worth lakhs in Odisha

Sundargarh: A major fire broke out at a rice mill located in Kunmuru panchayat under Rajgangpur police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district last night gutting properties worth lakhs.

Many used tyres kept at the mill caught fire, thereby intensifying the blaze, reports said. On being informed about the mishap, Fire Service personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.

No  casualties have been reported in the incident so far. The reason behind the outbreak of fire is yet to be ascertained.
