Fire safety certificates to be issued online in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Fire safety certificates for different categories of buildings will be issued online in Odisha as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the Agni-Shama Seva online portal (www.odishafshgscd.gov.in) of the Fire Service Department.

As many as eight services would be available to the public through the portal. The Chief Minister has asked the Department to include all other services by October 2.

Launching the online portal, the Chief Minister said, “I am delighted to launch Odisha Agni-Shama Seva Online Portal today for issuance of Fire Safety Certificates to different categories of buildings on online process. This will enhance efficiency, improve transparency and help provide timely services without actual human interaction.”

“I wish the Odisha Fire Services to continue to adopt technological innovations in the interest of public service and bring about transformational changes in the public delivery system,” said Patnaik.
