First phase of admissions begins for MBBS, BDS courses in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The first phase of provisional admission to medical courses has begun in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination office in Gandamunda, here today.

Admissions in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) courses in government and private medical colleges in the state will continue till July 10.

According to reports, counselling session has begun for applicants for admittance in SCB Medical College and Hospital on the first day.

As many as 19,244 students from Odisha qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2019, the results of which were declared by the National Testing Agency on June 5.
