First phase OUAT counseling ends in Odisha, regular classes from July 30

The first phase of counseling for 601 seats in nine colleges under the Odisha University for Agriculture Technology (OUAT) ended here on Saturday.

“While all seats in Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry and Horticulture streams have been filled up in the first phase counseling, 21 seats have remained vacant in Home Science streams. The second phase of counseling for these 21 seats would be held in the second phase in August”, said Prof Bijay Kumar Mishra, dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and chairman (admissions).

Regular classes with an orientation programme would commence from July 30.

Mishra said all 288 seats of three Colleges of Agricultural Engineering, 80 seats of College of Veterinary Science, 64 seats of Engineering and Technology, 48 seats of College of Forestry and 48 seats of College of Fisheries have been filled up.
