Five IAS officers transferred in minor rejig in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre with transfer of five officers.

A notification in this regard was published by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department this evening.

As per the notification, Higher Education Director Dhiren Kumar Patnaik has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar.

The post of Additional Commissioner, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.

Managing Director of Odisha Small Industries Corporation Ratnakar Rout has been appointed as Chief Executive, OREDA. The post of Chief Executive, OREDA is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.

The additional appointment of Roopa Mishra as Chief Executive of OREDA shall stand terminated from the date Ratnakar Rout takes over charge

Vice-Chairman of Cuttack Development Authority Sarat Chandra Nayak has been appointed as, Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner. The post of Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.

Higher Education Department Joint Secretary B Parameswaran has been appointed as Director, Higher Education in place of Dhiren Kumar Patnaik who has been transferred to Gopabandhu Academy of Administration. The post of Director, Higher Education is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government.

Deputy Secretary in Planning & Convergence Department Swadha Dev has been appointed as Additional Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Development Authority.
