Five more Model Degree Colleges to be set up in Odisha

In a bid to impart quality education, five more Model Degree Colleges will be set up under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) in Odisha.

The educational institutions will be set up in Boudh, Deogarh, Nuapada, Nabarangpur and Sonepur districts.

Total Rs 12.50 crore has been allocated for the proposed degree colleges out of which Centre will provide Rs 7.50 crore and Odisha government will bear Rs 5 crore. Rs 2.50 crore will be spent for each college, sources said.
