Five more cops test COVID-19 positive in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Another five police employees including a driver and home guard of the Capital Police Station have tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar.

Panic spread among other police personnel due to rise in COVID-19 cases in the particular police station located at Unit-1 area in the city.

Earlier, 7 police personnel of the Capital Police Station had tested positive for the deadly virus. The first case was a woman constable detected at the police station on July 25. Later, six others were found infected with the coronavirus at the police station. Total 11 positive cases have been detected at the police station in last 2 days.

With 5 more cases reported yesterday, total 12 police personnel have been infected with COVID-19 at the Capital Police Station.
