Bhubaneswar: As many as five more COVID-19 patients died in Odisha, official sources said today. While three of them died due to COVID-19, two others succumbed to other health issues.
Those who died due to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at hospitals have been identified as a 56-year-old man of Ganjam who was also suffering from Diabetes, a 50-year-old man of Ganjam, and a 65-year-old man of Ganjam who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
The two COVID-19 patients who died due to other health complications have been identified as a 50-year-old man of Khordha who died due to Head Injury (polytrauma) and a 57-year-old man of Bhubaneswar who succumbed to Acute Encephalomyelitis.
With this, COVID toll in Odisha mounted to 64 while 20 COVID-19 patients have died of other health problems till date.
