Dhenkanal: As many as five students who had gone missing in Saptasajya forest in Odisha's Dhenkanal district on Sunday were rescued by Forest Department personnel.

As per reports, they were found at the premises of an under-construction spirit company. They have been handed over to their families.

According to the Forest Department, the students initially visited the Ram temple on Saptasajya hilltop and lost their way while heading towards the Shiva temple. As a result, they ended up at the construction site of the spirit company in Barasamania area.

Forest officials rescued the students and reunited them with their families. Among the five, four are from Cuttack, and one is from Kamadhenu village in the Dhenkanal district.
