Flipkart delivery boy attacked during loot bid in Odisha

Rourkela: A delivery boy of e-commerce site Flipkart was attacked when unidentified miscreants attempted to loot cash from him in Panposh area here in broad daylight today.

As per sources the Flipkart delivery agent, Pinku Suna, collected cash amounting to over Rs 20 lakh from his office at around 1.30 PM and went away to deposit it in Axis Bank. While he was on the way to the bank, two bike-borne miscreants chased him and later attacked him with a sharp weapon. Pinku suffered severe injuries in his ear. However, the miscreants fled the spot after failing to loot the money.

Later, some locals rushed to the rescue of the delivery staff and admitted him to the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) for treatment.
