FLO, Bhubaneswar organises workshop on setting up kitchen garden

Bhubaneswar: As the coronavirus crisis has overwhelmed everyone with the unsettling and worrying lockdowns, FLO Bhubaneswar Chair, CS Sunita Mohanty along with Vice Chair, Poonam Mohapatra had organised a webinar on ‘Setting up your Kitchen garden during lockdown’ on Saturday which was attended by more than 90 women business entrepreneurs.

The webinar was quite psychologically sustaining specially when the future is dominated by fear and anxiety. Vegetable Gardening which has been an age old practice, has recently captured the interest of many during these trying times. The webinar was full of surprises and insightful tips, ideas and inspiration shared by garden expert, Khusboo Das.

The surprise includes encouraging the FLO members to try their hands at gardening by participating in a one month garden challenge, followed by prizes.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Sr Vice Chair, Namrita Chahal who concluded by saying it’s a therapy that reduces anxiety and depression.
