Balasore, Nov 2:
Former Balasore MLA Arun Dey was injured in a car accident near Simulia College here today.

According to reports, the accident took place when Dey was on the way to Balasore from Bhubaneswar in his car. The vehicle plunged into a water body as driver of the car lost control over the wheels on NH-5 near Simulia College.
Both Dey and the driver sustained injuries in the incident, sources said.
The ex-legislator was rescued by locals and admitted to Balasore district headquarters hospital.
