Former MLA Nabin Nanda joins Congress

Bhubaneswar: Senior leader and former BJD MLA from Dhenkanal Nabin Nanda joined Congress at the party headquarters here today.

Nanda joined the party in the presence of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Niranjan Patnaik and other party workers.

The OPCC Chief welcomed the ex-legislator and said his joining is a good sign for the party as well as the State. “Today Former BJD MLA Shri Nabin Nanda joined Congress with many of his supporters. I welcome them to the Congress family,” Patnaik tweeted.

Worth mentioning, BJD had suspended Nanda from the party in July last year after he was arrested from a spa in Kolkata where a sex racket was running in the guise of a massage centre.
