Bhatli: Former Minister and Bhatli MLA Bimbadhar Kuanr today returned to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha. He had left the saffron camp in 2014 alleging neglect and joined the ruling BJD.

According to a source, the senior leader joined the BJP in the presence of state unit president Manmohan Samal at the party office in Bhubaneswar, during an inclusion ceremony.

Kuanr spewed venom against BJD, after joining the saffron camp. He threw light on the ruling party’s alleged fund management and donations earlier received from mine owners in the State.

Woman leader from Sambalpur Nibedita Nayak and youth leader Saroj Bhuyan also joined the BJP today after quitting the ruling BJD.

Kuanr is a well-known political leader from Western Odisha’s Bargarh district.
