Former Odisha MLA goes missing in Kolkata!

Bhubaneswar: Former MLA of Dhenkanal Nabin Nanda has been reportedly missing since today’s morning in Kolkata, family sources said.

The former lawmaker was supposed to reach Bhubaneswar from Kolkata in flight at 7 am but he didn’t come in that flight.

Sambit, the eldest son of Naveen Nanda, informed the media saying his father’s mobile number was switched off since morning.

A missing complaint was lodged at Shakespeare Sarani Police Station in Kolkata by Sambit, who had rushed to the neighbouring state to find out his father’s whereabouts.

“My mother reached Bhubaneswar airport this morning to receive my father who was supposed to arrive at 7 am but he (father) was not in the flight,” Sambit told over phone.

The former MLA was staying in a hotel in Kolkata, Sambit added.

Nanda, who has been considered as a strong organiser of BJD, did not get the ticket in 2014 Assembly Elections. It was speculated that Nanda might join BJP before 2019 polls.
