Former Odisha MLA Purushottam Sethi no more

Bhadrak: Veteran political leader and former legislator Purushottam Sethi passed away today. He was 93.

The politician was suffering from age-related ailments since a long time. He breathed his last at around 7.30 am.

Born at Ranipada village under Sanasasan panchayat in Bhadrak district, Sethi had represented Bhandaripokhari Assembly Constituency between 1980-85. He had earned fame by serving the state as the Indian National Congress’ district president of undivided Balasore district and chairperson of various corporations.
