Four arrested on charges of drug peddling in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore, Aug 10:

Central flying squad and Excise department officials during joint raids in Jhadeswarpur and Nampo villages in Odisha’s Balasore district have arrested four persons on charges of drug peddling on Tuesday.

Those arrested have been identified as Reshma Bibi, Naseema Bibi and Sheikh Kadar all from Jhadeswarpur and Anil Parida of Nampo village, Excise department sources said.

The raiding party has seized 25 kg ganja, 3gm brown sugar and 14 bottles of liquor from their possession, the sources added.
