Four child labourers rescued in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Four child labourers were rescued from Indradhanu Market in Bhubaneswar today evening. As per reports, the Childline with help of Nayapalli police rescued the child labourers working in roadside eateries and a grocery shop.

While three of the rescued child labourers were below 14 years, one was 17 years old. Two of them are native of Ganjma district whereas one belongs to Nayagarh district and the other one from Çuttack district.

The rescued children have been kept at the Ruchika Open Shelter. “We have informed Bhubaneswar Additional CWC and DCPO for necessary action,” said a Childline official.
