Four cousins drown in pond in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, four cousins, all minors, drowned in a pond while taking bath at Barabanka Sahi under Dhenkanal Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district today.

While two of them were boys, two others were girls. According to reports, family members of the deceased spotted the bodies floating in the pond, where the four had gone to take bath.

Kin of the deceased found the bodies after searching for the four in the locality as they didn’t return home. All of them were declared dead at the District Headquarters Hospital.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem while police started investigation into the matter.
