Four including 7-YO boy die of asphyxiation at brick kiln in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Four persons including a 7-year-old boy died at a brick kiln near the Kamalang area under Kantabania police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

Initial report said that the workers engaged at the brick kiln reportedly died of asphyxiation.

The identities of the deceased persons are unclear.

According to reports, the four people including a minor boy were sleeping on the brick kiln. They died due to suffocation caused by toxic smoke coming from the brick kiln fire.

Sources said that the victim workers were sent to a nearby nursing home where they were declared dead.
