Four members of family murdered over property dispute in Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: Four members of a family including two minor children were brutally killed by a relative over property dispute at Jhikjhiki village under Bhatli block in Bargarh district of Odisha.

The accused in the quadruple murder case Siba Bag has been detained by Bhatli police.

The incident has sent a shockwave among locals at the village.

According to reports, there had been dispute between Siba Bag and his elder brother over property.

On Monday night, Bag barged into house of his elder brother and attacked him with a crowbar killing him on the spot. He then killed his brother’s wife and their two minor children, a 15-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter, with the same fatal weapon.

Police recovered the bodies lying in a pool of blood from the house.

A scientific team will reach the spot for further investigation into the incident.
