Bhubaneswar: The highly contagious Coronavirus continues to claim lives in Odisha. Four persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in the State taking the toll to 1,942.
"Regret to inform the demise of four numbers of COVID positive patients while under treatment in hospitals," informed the State Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department today.
The four deaths due to COVID-19 were reported from Balangir, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi and Sambalpur districts.
Here're details shared by the State H&FW Department about fresh COVID-19 deaths:Â
1.A 62 years old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
2.A 50 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.
3.A 60 years old female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
4.A 38-year-old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Tuberculosis.
